Diwali is a very grand festival celebrated by indians. few people celebrate diwali by giving prayers to goddess laxmi and few give their prayers to goddess kali(another avatar of goddess durga).
for indians it also know as festival of light where every individual light lamps of different kinds at their homes and prepare sweets and distribute and celebrate with their dear ones and neighbors. during this festival we can also see the fireworks that takes place constantly for 2 days. but fireworks these days seemed to reduce as people are getting more sensible and are going green.
